I provide before and after school care during term time.
I offer a flexible service and meet individual needs. If you need my service outside the stated times, just ask. You can just have a morning session or an afternoon session or mix and match!

Opening times:
Monday – Friday
7.30 am – 9 am morning drop off (breakfast provided).
3.00pm – 5.30 pm (latest pick up 6pm by arrangement) snack provided.

If you have a meeting at work/floods/accident on the motorway etc… there is no time limit, this being the advantage of using a Childminder – in the event of the unforeseen you know your child is in a safe home environment. I don’t charge retainers for school holidays or bank holidays. I accept all childcare voucher schemes and government Initiatives e.g. tax free schemes…. You will be charged a set standard fee per child/per session (this fee is in line with other childcare providers).

Breakfast and afternoon snacks are provided free of charge. Breakfast choices include: various cereals, toast, (Jam, peanut butter, Marmite, honey, lemon curd, marmalade, chocolate spread, butter). Milkshakes, Banana smoothie, juice, milk. Occasionally waffles or pancakes (home made).

Schools covered are: Brockwell Infants and Nursery and Brockwell Junior School – morning drop offs and afternoon pick ups.

What we do at the setting

Children have access to ipads which enable completion of school work or fun activities should they wish. I readily offer help with reading and spellings should you require this.

We often attend the park on the way back from school, weather permitting and consensus of the majority of the children. I usually take a football, snack and games. We may spend a few minutes there or longer, depending on the decision of your child/children – they make the choice. At the setting the children have the use of the whole of the downstairs of the property including a downstairs toilet, large open planned kitchen/diner, playroom and lounge area. Log burners in the lounge and kitchen keep the rooms cosy and welcoming during the winter months. Sofas are situated in every room (with blankets) and allow total relaxation and snuggle time. I have a large selection
of games, puzzles, play doh, painting, craft activities, dressing up, toys, dvd’s, Netflix, Prime, books etc.

My garden is spacious and welcoming, with various seating areas, a small (sectioned off) wildlife pond and a large paved area which can be used at all times. There is outdoor lighting on the paved area during the winter months.
